Yes: If you are hepatitis B surface antigen negative and have not been recently exposed to a potentially infected individual, then you are very close to 100% assured not to be a hepatitis B carrier. You should get your hepatitis B surface antibody level drawn at some time, to see if you responded to the first vaccination. You should also be revaccinated with the hepatitis B vaccine at the 10 year mark,
