Nothing is 100%: The vaccine for Hep B is about 90% effective. It is thought to last as long as 22 years. That being said, it covers all subtypes of Hep B and is worth getting for everyone. Remember, you don't have to have sex with or share needles with an infected person to get Hep B.

Hepatitis B Vaccine: “The vaccine is 80% to 100% effective in preventing infection or clinical hepatitis in those who receive the complete vaccine series.” REF: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/hepb.html . It may be protective for over 20 years.
