A member asked:

Pbs shows few atypical lymphocytes seen. no blast noted. could this be from leukemia or lymphoma?

Unlikely: Atypical lymphocytes can be associated with many things. The most common is mononucleosis (mono). Other causes are a simple viral infection. Can be seen in some lymphomas but unlikely since the most common cause is viral. Hope this helps.

Unlikely: This is a very nonspecific finding. This is often seen in viral illnesses. Often it is not a significant problem.
