Not a known symptom: Although fibromyalgia, frequently occurring with depression, has many symptoms including fatigue, agitation, chronic but waxing/waning and diffuse pain, sleep disturbance, headache/jaw pain, abdominal/urinary symptoms, and some may have conigtive problem etc.. But speech is not a known symptom. Medications to treat depression may induce speech difficulty. Please consult doc for eval. Good luck.

No, but meds can: Fibromyalgia causes widespread muscle pain, fatigue, changes in sensory perception, sleep dysfunction, and can be associated with TMJ (jaw) problems, chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, depression, and interstitial cystitis. Speech or language abnormalities are not associated with fibromyalgia. However, side effects of fibromyalgia medications include slurring or word-finding difficulties.
