Can talking about depression everyday cause you to become depressed?

Probably not.: This would be unusual. Usually, talking about ones issues regarding depression helps to deal with the depression and gain insight and understanding into the causes, conditions and make one better able to cope. If you are not seeing someone for treatment, i would recommend you do so. Medications and cbt (cognitive behavioral therapy) help with treatment and getting you towards wellness.

Ask for it!: Let's put it this way, talking about what you want will help you find it. Much better to talk about the things in life that make you feel good. Sometimes, though, if you are depressed, it is hard to remember to use positive thoughts and expressions. Seek counsel if this applies to you.

Pick who to talk to: Talking about depression with others who are depressed is not good. Talking to someone positive and supportive can be therapeutic. Above all, keep talking.

Depression: If you totally inundate yourself with negativity - that could cause someone to become more depressed. Talking therapy to include Cognitive Behavioral therapy or psychotherapy can be effective. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night & good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies & 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises
