Could be depression.: Crying all the time, isolating yourself, not wanting to engage with others are all symptoms of depression. So are low energy, lack of interest in usual activities, suicidal thinking. People with depression may have headaches and other physical symptoms. But if this is all very new for you, make an appointment with your doctor to sort this out. Lgromkomd.

Depression sucks!: Feeling blue, crying, sadness, low energy & joy, eating/ sleeping changes, less social, negative thoughts, irritability, headaches - it's likely depression. Meds help but studies show meds+ cognitive-behavioral or interpersonal therapy are better. Either treatment alone is still far better than none. Talk with your doc about your symptoms, ask for therapist referral. If suicidal seek help asap.

Yes: Depression occurs for many reasons: as part of a physical condition, prolonged grief, overwhelming stress, or in some cases at a time when others and even you can't understand why. Severe depression can occur even when everything is great, because it is a chemical alteration in the thinking part of your brain so that all your thoughts are negative. It may be hard to do, but get help, now.
