Read below: Gout is caused by uric acid builup from uric acid in the breakdown of foods. Stay away from red meat, shell fish, sweets, fried foods, alcohol, and drink plenty of water to hydrate your kidneys. You may eat fish, pasta, most vegetables, turkey, chicken, etc, to name a few. If your uric acid is too high, see your podiatrist for mediciation treatment.
