Takusubo syndrome when does the pain go away my husband got diagnosed over 2 weeks ago and is still in severe pain?

Unusual: Not impossible but its unusual fot this diagnosis in a man. Usually with this syndrome the symptoms resolve over a 2 wk time period and the heart begins to recover its function. If this is not occuring, see your cardiologist and confirm he doesnt have something else.
