Best early than late: When you notice that you're not feeling well emotionally, is a good time to see a mental health professional. When there is difficulty sleeping or staying asleep; anxiety that seems out of proportion to things going on; feelings of intense sadness and even suicidality; change in energy, appetite, and interest -- all would be indicators of something amiss that needs help. Better early than late!

Feeling depressed: Does not help you feel good about yourself and your life, therefore, it is not good for your to wait to get help if you are depressed. Do something about it before it gets worse consider speaking to a therapist.
