DEPRESSION: Get an evaluation from a psychiatrist to help identify what depression means to you and whatever else may be bothering you. Consider recommendations for medication if any are given. Get a referral for a reputable psychotherapist to speak with. Meds and therapy combined are most optimal; no just one or the other.

Need to examine: Depression is a chemical disorder in the brain, not a moral failing, Do see a doctor for evaluation and if needed medication treatment. In the meantime, start exercising. Begin with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity so that you sweat profusely. Starting your day with 30 minutes of aerobic exercise will do wonders for your mood. Wish you good health!
