Constipation: It sounds like you're a little constipated and you might be having some bleeding hemorrhoids or anal fissures. While most causes of blood in the stools are benign, you should get it checked because we worry about uncommon and dangerous things like colon/rectal cancer, especially if you're over 50 or have a family history of colon cancer.
