Exam!: Your symptoms lead to various diagnostic considerations including a lesion, ulcer or even cancer. You therefore should be examined as soon as possible by your Family Physician to determine the proper diagnosis & treatment. And make certain you are well hydrated with healthy fluids such as water or juice & avoid alcohol, smoking & illicit drugs. And include adequate fiber in your diet.

Several things: Dark stools can be caused by some foods (spinach is common) or a high bleed (stomach ulcers), ref blood on wipes would not suggest the above, but either a skin tear near the anus, hemorrhoids, or just wiping too hard. Try using water or other moisturizers when wiping. Please determine if this needs to be evaluated by your local doc.
