Exercise...: Aerobic exercise, the kind where you get short of breath and sweaty for 45 minutes to an hour at a time will improve your cardiovascular conditioning and lower your heart rate. Try to do this every other day, and avoid the "simple" carbohydrates, stick to more complex carbs.
