See your doctor: Metoprolol lowers resting heart rate and blunts the response of heart rate to exercise, anemia, fever, hyperthyroidism and other conditions. You may have to discuss it with your md as your dose may be too low, you may be dehydrated or have other co morbidities (infection/sepsis/thyroid/arrhythmias/anemia/ etc) check it out.
