Pain, bulky feeling: Immediate dentures are a good way to try to maintain some esthetics when teeth need to be removed. However it can be difficult and uncomfortable for the patient. They will begin to get loose as you heal and then after about 6 months you will need a reline to make them fit better or even a new denture.

Soreness: The response depends on how many teeth, the extent of the condition of the teeth and oral cavity in general. Some discomfort and swelling is normal after extractions. The dentures will act as bandages to a certain extent. Upper dentures much easier than lower dentures.
