See your MD: first to evaluate your condition, then see the dentist if the findings by the MD are stable.

See your dentist: A complete exam and evaluation would need to be done to give you the best opinion. With that kind of pain you are describing, you may have an abscess. You may also have some TMJ dysfunction going on. See your dentist asap for an exam. Good luck.

See a dentist first: to rule out tooth pain. Trigeminal neuralgia is an episodic, recurrent, paroxysmal sharp stabbing pain in the distribution of one or more branches of the trigeminal nerve usually after age 40. If not a dental problem, see orofacial pain specialist for diagnosis and treatment.

See your doctor: You should see your doctor or dentist for evaluation. There are several possibilities that cannot be narrowed down with the information you gave. A physical exam will be necessary.

Unlikely TN: Constant pain and short duration is against TN. Most likely the pain is from jaw, teeth, sinus, gum or TMJ (the jaw joint in front of the ear). 50 mg Tramadol is very low dose. Go with anti inflammatory medications (NSAIDS) like Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, (naproxen) and Naproxen. If no stomach issue, take up to max dose given by manufacturer. Get examined by your primary MD
