How much exercise is necessary to stay "healthy"?

It Depends: Healthy exercise depends on your weight, body fat percentage, medical condition and physical abilities. Doing aerobic exercise for 1/2 an hour with maintaining your heart rate at one and a half times of baseline rate at least three times per week is considered healthy. Try to be consistent and do not over do it.

30 minutes a day: Get moving 30 minutes every day. If that's a lofty goal, start low and work up slowly. Make it fun--walking dates with friends or dancing. Congrats on making healthy changes!
