Likely has heartburn: Infants, premi or not, often backwash some of their stomach contents up into the swallow tube.Stomach acid can burn the swallow tube enough to make them hurt & vomiting is a frequent feature. Semi-upright positioning after feeds, cereal & sleep with the head elevated some helps.Your dr may also rx an acid reducer.The process seems to worsen some as they begin to roll & improves when they sit up.
