A member asked:

Will my eyes be blurry after an eye exam?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Commonly the eyes are dilated to get a good look at the back by your ophthalmologist (you are seeing an ophthalmologist -right? The only medical/surgical trained eye care person). Dilated eyes do not focus as well, especially at near. The focus will be restored after 4-8 hours when your bodily chemistry eliminates the dilating chemical.
