Due for an exam: In about a month because of taking plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine). You could have dry eye syndrome from evaporative causes or from sicca syndrome/sjogrens. It could also be due to allergies. It won't hurt to use warm compresses and dietary omega 3. But you will get an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan if you are examined by your ophthalmologist.
