I had an eye exam today with dilation. one pupil became larger than the other with blurriness & headache. it's been over 13 hours since then & my vision is still blurry and my pupil still larger and headache. how long should i wait to get it checked?

Call the office and ask which drops they used. Tropicamide 1% usually wears off in 6 hours, but it takes much longer for some people. Cyclopentolate 1-2% takes 24-48 hours. One just waits for the effect to wear off. Rarely, some people can have angle closure with dilation if their anterior chamber drainage angle is very narrow. Blurry vision at near is normal with a dilated pupil.Headache uncommon
