Start with exercise: Scoliosis has two main types. First is adolescent, where the spine grows with an increasing curve. Second is degenerative where the discs and joints of the spine wear down asymmetrically resulting in a curve. When nerves are compressed, the resultant pain radiates to where that nerve goes (usually to the legs). Treatment usually starts with physical therapy. Injections and surgery are options too.

Need evaluation and: You first need to check the status of your scoliosis and if there is really any nerve compression. Next an exercise program, nutrition program with weight control and avoidance of smoking if these are factors that need to be done in your life. Sometimes medication and injections through pain management may help to get you going as well.
