Conflict: It sounds like you're in conflict with your rheumatologist over what diagnostic tests you want done. You've already consulted with another physician. If you feel strongly about this, there's nothing to prevent the other physician from ordering the tests. But you & doctor #2 need to clarify specifically what you hope to gain from the new information. Will it change the treatment you're receiving?
