How do you get checked for a brain tumor?

See a doc: A brian tumor can or will give you specific symptoms base on its biological nature and/or location(s). Start with a visit to your medical doctor, he or she will help you determine whether additional workup such as ct/mri, or a visit with a specialist is needed.

See a Doctor.: People worried about having a brain tumor should speak with their primary physician. The first step is a good history and neurologic examination. If there is enough suspicion of a problem an MRI scan with contrast is usually the best way to find a brain tumor. Sometimes a ct scan is done first to make sure there isn't a different cause of the patient's problems.
