Communicate with doc: Different brain tumors have varying outcomes, and if you have a meningioma, it will be very slow growing, and maybe require infrequent imaging. In many cases, films every 6-12 months suffice. Best approach is to see a neurosurgeon, at least every 6 months, and follow advice.
