Medicines: Choices include neurontin, lyrica, cymbalta, and savella (milnacipran). Some pts do well with regular exercise, and stress management. Inadequate sleep seems to make it worse, and is in fact part of the process.

Heal muscles: ? how relieve fibromyalgia (FM) pain. 3 FDA-approved pain meds, Tramadol & muscle relaxer Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl). IMO best analgesic is cannabis & massage. Chronic soft tissue spasm is common in FM sufferers & generates multitude of anoxic trigger points. Trigger point injections provide temporary pain relief. Permanent relief via reconstituted muscle tone: aquatherapy, gentle yoga & walking.
