Your choice: You can eat anything you feel comfortable eating after having a root canal. You may just want to stay away from chewing directly on the treated tooth for a few days to give it a chance to recover.

Anything: Nutrition is important for your recovery. You may just want to stay away from chewing directly on the treated tooth for a few days to give it a chance to recover. You can eat anything you feel comfortable eating after having a root canal. It is not the food but rather the pressure of the food on the tooth and temporary filling. Wait to put direct pressure until after it is restored. Ask your dds.
