You may have : Been compensating and overutilizing the right to allow the left to heal. Is it bad? Well, its not good.....Ice it, it might be wise to have an ankle brace as well just to make sure they are both protected....

Depends: The right ankle may be sore due to compensation for the left ankle sprain. It is important to stabilize the left ankle so less stress is born by the right ankle. A walking boot or ankle brace would help in this matter. See specialist if sprained ankle does not improve after 3 weeks. It may mean a ligament tear or fracture has occurred.
