Yes: Immediate concern is the swelling in one leg; this could indicate a clot. An ultrasound doppler study of the affected leg is important and should be done immediately. Clots that go unidentified and untreated can travel to the lungs and cause death. Longer term concern is the weight and inactivity. Needs to see his doctor to get check up and an approval to start an exercise and diet program.
