I had cellulitis on my left leg in 2007.it healed but i still get a swollen ankle. my doctor won't do anything about it. no red/or pain. just annoying?

Second opinion: Swelling after cellulitis should be taken seriously. I suggest a second medical opinion and examination.

Venous insufficiency: "Cellulitis" often reflects venous insufficiency, which can also cause ankle swelling? Have you had ultrasound w reflux studies, which shows this problem? Venous insufficiency often easily fixed in Dr. office w local anesthesia. This may be key helping your swelling. Hope this helps
