Can a very low calorie diet allow you to maintain lean mass?

If moderate exercise: If one does some mild or moderate exercise, for 30-40 minutes, 3-4 times a week, she will likely stimulate his muscles enough to maintain them. On a "very low" calorie diet, she can get into trouble if the calories are too few (his body may break down muscle for fuel). Thus, "very low" calorie diets should be adjusted into "moderately low" calorie diets, which also have better long-term success.
