See your doctor!!!: How do you know your baby has strep? Have you seen the doctor? If you see the doctor, he/she will be sure to give you the proper medicine to take care of your baby's illness. Strep throat can be easily treated with antibiotics. Please see a doctor for proper diagnosis. Don't assume its strep throat. Get an expert to advise you for the proper treatment.

Really ?: Most sore throats in small kids is due to a variety of viruses.A 21 month old can also not articulate feeling a sore throat, so the statement is a reflection of multiple assumptions. We do see strep throat in kids, and can easily confirm it by rapid office testing. If it is it can be treated, if not, no antibiotics are needed.
