Muscle: Want it Bad!: Hi i come down on the side of letting nature alone. This means I am not one to encourage body building hormones or illegal supplements to achieve unnatural muscle mass. But, that said, given your age you can naturally do a lot to get strong and to stay that way. High protein, low carbs, lots of good hydration and muscle training and lifting guided by a good trainer are key.

May still lose some: muscle. To lose weight insure that calories burned exceed calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water /day. Try for 8 hrs of sleep/night. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables & 4 of fruit per day. Use whole grains. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbohydrates. Get in a good mix of aerobic & weight lifting exercises.
