Yes: Ibs is a multi-factorial disease.I submit you are a mind, body and spirit.If any of these parts are "ill" you are ill.If you don't address the "mind" part your brain will make you feel sick.Recommend you follow your dr's recommendation of elavil (amitriptyline).I use it often in this situation.
