Absolutely: I imagine you are being treated for the esophageal ulcer, but if you are having persistent pain despite therapy, you should make your physician aware of this. Common treatments for esophageal ulcers are proton pump inhibitors, which include Prilosec (omeprazole). When the pain is bad, try taking a few teaspoons of mylanta or maalox. If it makes the pain better, then it's likely the ulcer.

Yes it can: If you have active ulcers, the pain can be quite bothersome. Hiatal hernia can cause reflux/esophagitis(inflammation of esophagus)/erosions/ulcers, scarring, spasm etc...Thus can cause persistent pain. Wt loss, avoid laying flat after meals, minimize spicey/fatty foods, mint/caffeine, alcohol etc..May help. Otc pepcid/prilosec etc..May help. If not, consult doc. Good luck.

Yes: Esophageal ulcer can cause cosntant chest pain. Hiatal hearnia can cause intermittent chest pain. High blood pressure does not cause chest pain daily except in hypertensive crisis.
