A member asked:

Can 4 cm sliding hiatal hernia cause trouble breathing?-no covid, chest x-ray,ekg, echo were all normal.endoscopy showed mild reactive gastropathy and hiatal hernia. chest x ray missed hiatal hernia?blood cbc normal.total bilirubin (2.1) and alt(75?

More information is needed to address this well. You ALT is 75 is high- why it is high is not clear. A hiatal hernia can cause problems breathing but I would not make the assumption that is why you have problems breathing. There are many reasons for problems breathing more common than a hiatal hernia.
