See psychiatrist: With bipolar disorder, it's best to see a psychiatrist -- to develop the best treatment plan for you. This may well include medicines to help stabilize your mood, and assist nighttime sleep if that is a problem too. Psychotherapies can also be helpful in these disorders. Over time, work with your psychiatrist so medicines can be adjusted, and be as helpful as possible to you.
