I tend to workout about every other day. i get really sore on days that i rest. i take whey protein and do plenty of stretching. im hydrated. thanks?

Over training: Muscle soreness tends to be worse 24-48 hours after intense exercise. I recommend not working the same muscle group for 72 hours in order to allow for proper recovery. A good routine is pushes vs pulls. Do push exercises on monday and thurs. Do pull exercises on tues and fri. Rest completely on wed. That should get you on the right track.
