Slowly with therapy: Individuals beleiving they have repressed memories can be easily convinced of that by a hypnotherapist or other naive clinician who is on an exciting journey. This is tricky stuff that should be carefully considered and treated by an experienced psychologist or psychiatrist. Hypnosis is in disrepute for doing this - and the subject of a lot of successful malpractice claims.
