Yes: The "stress test" drives the heart to it's maximal workload.This may bring on major problems and it is the reason for the test.We seldom do this test if we expect major cardiac side effects.We do this test to find the fitness of the heart and stop as soon as we see signs of heart problems.This is not to say we can predict with any accuracy what will happen.Men live on that river in egypt:de nile.
