Fairly but not entir: It is 80-90% reliable.But if you have angina oranychest pain thenyou must have a coronaryangiogram done to check the health of your coronary arteries.

Depends...: Exercise stress tests are performed until a patient reaches target heart rate. If target heart rate is not reached, the test is often converted to a pharmacologic test for adequate sensitivity. The tracer used can affect the test. Myocardial perfusion spect with dual isotope or single isotope are susceptible to attenuation artifacts. Cardiac pet is not as susceptible and has better resolution.

nuclear stress: All tests have sensitivity and specificity and each lab has its own data. In the best labs these values for this test are >85% sens/spec., there are many technical factors. We choose tests by the information needed and the best test o get us what we need to know.
