Which doctor do i go to, to see if my ankle needs surgery?

One trained in it: Only have ankle surgery performed by someone who does alot of that procedure , either a podiatrist or orthopedic foot specialist.

Thank

Orthopaedic Surgeon: The type of surgery required may have some bearing on who you see. Orthopaedic foot/ankle specialist would be a solid resource.

ORTHO OR DPM: See an orthopedist specializing in foot/ankle or a podiatrist board certified in reconstructive rearfoot. Check for podiatrist's board credentials at ABFAS.org.
