What side effect?: Potential side effects of Botox include mild facial asymmetry, heaviness of the brow and rare complications such as drooping of an eyelid. Most asymmmetries can be corrected with a small amount of additional botox. Heaviness of the brow or drooping of an eyelid is usually a short-term problem, lasting only a couple of weeks. The effects of Botox are usually completely gone by 3 to 4 months.

It depends: If too much Botox is given or if the wrong muscles are injected, drooping can occur this can last up to 4 months but most cases start to improve after a few weeks. Some undesired effects like "spocking" of the brows is very easily fixed with a little more Botox in the right area.
