Botox: Botox does inhibit sweating by blocking the acetylcholine receptors. It's effect will last for a few months before it needs to be repeated. There are no pills that are as safe and specific that I am aware of. Other treatments include iontophoresis or antiperspirants such as drysol. Botox treatment is not covered for the treatment of sweating by most insurance programs.

None: There is no oral alternative to botox. There is a procedure known as precision tx for axillary hyperhidrosis (sweating underarms). The benefit of this is a longer lasting result.
