How long does it dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) treatment to start taking effect?

Half an hour or so. : Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) is rapid acting & short lasting. There should be positive findings soon after the first dose. We usually wait several days to allow the patient to get "used to" the side effects before adjusting the dose. I usually wait two weeks.
