Can capsular contracture hardening be easily removed by a surgeon?

?: What exactly is "capsular contracture hardening"? Contractures are often "released" by opening them...They generally do not "harden" there can be bone under the capsule that "spurs" or has risdges and this can be smoothed. Hope that helps.

Yes: Capsular contracture around a breast implant that has become hard, or distorts the shape of the breast should be fixed surgically. Most plastic surgeons who do a lot of breast surgery should be able to help you with this. There are now more options to help reduce the risk of this problem reoccurring.
