A Very Long List: Too many to count, each with their unique pros/cons and indications. Most popular today seem to be era, locator, & various ball-and-o-ring combinations. The choice absolutely must be individualized for each particular case. There's no one-size-fits all approach. Each dentist/lab tech will have their own favorites. All of them work well if used properly. If you trust your dds, it shouldn't matter.

Some attathments currently in use are locator attachments, 'o' ring attachments, era attachements, and hader clip attachments. There are many, many more, but your doctor will choose which one is best for you given your prosthetic needs. Keep smiling!
