Yes: There are some swaddle blankets you can buy at stores with baby equipment, but these are not necessary in order to swaddle your baby effectively. You can also use a large square blanket.

Yes: I've seen some but why bother. Swaddeling helps baby settle by replicateing the confinement of the womb.It helps avoid that uncontrolled distraction of arms & legs moving about. However, we should gradually begin decreasing the swaddeling. If baby will settle into a good sleep pattern without swaddeling, celebrate. You only have umteen more steps to go till graduation.
