Can i stop taking celexa (citalopram) after 9 years?

Yes, but...: You should only stop a medication after discussing this with your md. Abruptly stopping Celexa (citalopram) may trigger some unpleasant symptoms and there is a risk that your anxiety/depression symptoms will return.

Yes.: Talk to your doc about how to do it and what to expect and if that is the right choice for you.
