It will mature: Scars mature over one year. Everyone is different. In most people scars will improve, but only time will tell.

It will change but..: Never go away. Scars cannot be removed; they are permanent. They do go through a process of maturation and softening that takes 6-18 months and results in the scar being less apparent.
